This bird looked pretty good for Thayer's except that it is not smooth enough on the breast and underparts, it has sub-terminal spots on the primaries, a few 2nd generation scapulars and a tail-band (not shown on these shots). In my opinion it has a Glaucous Gull ancestor - it not only has pale-fringed translucent primaries, but also a tell-tale broken eye-ring.
