This sturdy bird, a typical Mediterranean michahellis has an unusually broad, parallel tail-band. The open wings demonstrate nicely the pale inner webs of the inner primaries - a good differentiator from Lesser Black-backed Gull, not that it's needed in this case as it exhibits many new grey 3rd generation scapulars.
