In life, the legs were much more yellow than they appear here. The rounded head, shortish bill and short legs, would indicate an Atlantic bird. However, the longish wings and the wing formula: P10>P9,P9-P8 = P8-P7 (P8 is displaced ) would point towards this being a Mediterranean bird. So either this is a long-winged Atlantic bird, or a cute-looking female Mediterranean bird or, as suggested by Nick Rossiter, from the intersection area in between.
