These 2 frequently changed places between the nest and a nearby tree-stump.
The presumed male (top 4 pictures) seemed a perfect Caspian Gull in all respects, but its soft parts were very bright compared to what we are used to in the UK.
The presumed female (bottom picture), had a bright bill, but pinkish yellow legs. It had a large sub-terminal mirror on P10 and quite a short white tongue on the inner web. This bird could well be an argentatus-cachinnans intergrade.
As well as a few adult Caspian Gulls, there were a small number of 2CY birds as well as 3CY birds that looked like Herring Gulls.
