This juvenile bird has one new scapular. The white eye-lids, the whitening around the face and the almost Mediterranean Gull-like expression are all typical michahellis. In addition it has moulted much of its lower breast and belly. In flight, the tail was pristine white with a crisp black tail-band. It was not particularly dark on the under-wings and it had a small amount of translucency at the wing bend.
