These are videograbs. One can only assume that this 1CY bird originated from somewhere in Siberia, perhaps part of a very small regular population that winters in Africa. This bird was in the North of Oman; we also saw and heard a second Pectoral Sandpiper at Dhofar Feed Farm in the south of Oman on the 28 October.
