This bird seems to be completely in winter plumage, but there may be some signs of moult in the tertial/greater covert area. It is rather retarded in its appearance when compared to all of the other Icelandic birds present. It was ringed as a 1st summer (2CY) female on 31st July 2000 at Terrington, on the Wash by a group run by Jenny Gill of the University of East Anglia.
