There is always a caveat with regard to lighting when assessing grey-levels. The apparent large extent of dark on the flanks is exaggerated as the flank feathers overlap the wing-coverts. The upper bird is difficult to age, but may be adult. Should this bird be seen in the UK, it would almost certainly be dismissed as a female Pied Wagtail, which, although far out of range, it may be.
The second and 3rd pictures are of a different bird. The brown primaries might indicate 2CY.
