This is the first of 3 birds seen in Southern Crete, at different locations, with a superficial appearance like Pied Wagtail. All 3 birds were near the shore and hanging around fresh water. This bird seemed to have a slightly darker rump than the 2nd bird photographed, but still paler than what one might expect for a Pied Wagtail, and more extensive grey on the flanks.
