This is the second of 3 birds seen in southern Crete in 3 different locations with black on the back and lesser wing-coverts. First impressions were that this bird was a White Wagtail with black on the back rather than a Pied Wagtail. The relatively clean flanks and pale grey rump, are particularly intriguing. The lack of contrast in the greater coverts possibly indicates an adult or the old inner tertial might indicate 2CY. Click the left-arrow to see the first bird.
